As part of the yearlong centennial celebration of the UP College of Engi-neering (UP COE), the 100 Outstanding Alumni Engineers were honored by the UP COE and the UP Alumni Engineers (UPAE) in a grand awarding ceremony held on May 28 at the UP Theater in Diliman.

The UPAE conceptualized the celebration to recognize the extraordinary achievements of 100 of its members in terms of impact to society and of inspiring the COE community. It was well-attended by officials of both the University and the COE, COE faculty, students and staff, several generations of COE alumni, and the proud families and friends of the alumni awardees.
