In celebration of the centennial of the UP College of Engineering, the UP Engineering Alumnae Book Committee published the coffee-table book Women of Today—experiences of women who have flourished in the traditionally male-dominated world of engineering in the University and bonded toward a common goal as the UP Engineering Fraulein. The book was launched on June 12 at the new UP Diliman Engineering Library with UP President Emerlinda R. Roman and Chancellor Sergio S. Cao as guests of honor and Dean Rowena Cristina Guevara, Fraulein alumna. Net proceeds of the book will be donated to a Fraulein-sponsored Professorial Chair.
